I don't know if I can do Dead Or Alive. There was this one idiot back in the day, name escapes me, and he was loved by EVERYBODY in the New Wave circles. He was a total prick though, and all the "Punks" hated his guts. He was very fem, but was so just to snag everybodies girlfriends from them. The guy could dance though, I'll give him that. But he always drew a question mark on his left cheek, and his favorite band was Dead Or Alive, and to this day I think of that shithead whenever I think of that band or hear them. I guess that actually means I should put them on the disc. Hmmmm, but I just can't. It isn't a good memory.

I'll send it along with GTR Dan. BTW, the main hold up on the GTR was I had to find the tape again. I found it, but think I misplaced it again. I am pretty sure I know right where it is though.

Breakfast Club-Right On Track

Looking for songs that were in the "New Wave" clubs in the mid-80's. Not "Pop" type of things, but more underground. Basically, the stuff that would later be lapped up by the people slopping on white face paint and calling themselves "Gothic". The stuff that resides between Punk and Dance music. Depeche Mode being one of the bands, but actually being a little too popular. Think Depeche Mode, but no later than "People Are People".

In fact, "Everything Counts" just might be finding a place on here.

I will check out that Breakfast Club though, and see if it rings bells. The name is foriegn to me though.

you can always throw some Sigue Sigue Sputnik on there. 21st Century Boy, Atari Baby (an awesome song), Dancerma.

Ya know, I grabbed that SSS album "Flaunt It" recently. Ummm, I'll pass from placing that within earshot ever again, thank you. I can't believe people listen to that thing still. I mean, those effects that they use on it where out of date the second those guys walked out of the studio! Hell, the song at the end of REVENGE OF THE NERDS that the nerds play to win the competition is dating better than SSS!!! LOL!!!

I could tell you're not looking for pop, so Breakfast Club-right on track would NOT be a good choice for your comp. It was on the pop charts. pretty big hit if i recall. you'd recognize it i'm sure.
